I’m thankful for down time from the day to day (meaning things are largely done and I don’t have to clean anything) to work with my hands for a while, to learn something new and really work on it, catching on quicker than I thought I would.
I’m thankful for finally finishing little projects and the little feelings of productivity and success that help propel my good mood through another day.
I’m thankful for being able to watch my child run rampant with another her age and see all the learning that goes on as she does so. All the social skills she’s learning (and unlearning) and her communication skills, and her motor skills, and her problem solving skills, and her ingenuity, her imagination…..
I’m thankful for being a part of my child’s learning and growing and blossoming.
