I’m thankful for really learning to stick to my guns when it comes to fits with the baby.
I’m thankful for little successes.
I’m thankful for cuddle time with my baby, and her occasional insistence that we play building blocks in my lap on the couch, as awkward an endeavor that can be at times. It’s fun.
I’m thankful for relatively peaceful days after being extremely busy.
I’m thankful for my growing skill with crochet, allowing me to put out pieces I’m very happy with, in a much shorter time than I was last year. I’m thankful to know that I’ve challenged myself and I’ve risen to it, and am now in need of further challenging myself.
I’m thankful for another small success in the battle of high chairs!
I’m thankful for the incredible imagination my daughter is already evidencing before she even reaching two years of age! I really had far less of a clue about human growth than I ever thought (and it wasn’t much to start with, admittedly) until I had this incredible little wacky person in my life. She is hilarious, awesome, awe-inspiring and utterly and wonderfully infuriating. Now I know how my parents must have felt with the triple threat of me and my brothers.
