3000 Miles!

Just a quickie.

We have finally made it across from Washington State back to South Carolina!

On a mommy note, our 2.5 year old did surprisingly well.  Definitely some meltdowns here and there out of frustration, but otherwise quite a bit better than we were expecting.

Especially after we had to leave the RV behind in California after multiple stops to get it fixed.  It’s an entire post on it’s own about the whole issue and story surrounding the RV and this trip.  The rest of the trip was pretty uneventful.

But, we made it in once piece, with most of our sanity intact.  We’ve been staying with friends and we’ve actually managed to find the house we wanted in less than two weeks, immediately put in an offer, which was accepted conditionally, and we’ve been going back and forth with the paperwork since then and hopefully we should be able to close on, if not before, the day before Thanksgiving.

Here’s hoping, at the least and I’m not completely screwing myself by posting this.
